A message from the community
On behalf of our community, we wish to extend our utmost gratitude to Lifewater for the repair of our hand pump. We are so blessed to have access to clean and safe water. -- Community Leader
Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
The people living in Kolal in Kisumu County struggled to survive without safe water for almost a year after the hand pump on their local well stopped functioning. Children and adults were forced to drink from the nearest river, which meant they were constantly at risk of contracting waterborne illnesses. Recently, thanks to our donors, Lifewater repaired the pump. Everyone has safe water again.
