After the hand-powered pump on their community stopped working a long time ago, the 700 children and adults living in Koloo Mbogo no longer had any access to safe water. They were forced to walk to and from the nearest river for water that was contaminated and therefore capable of making them very sick and even causing deaths. But through the support of our generous donors, Lifewater has repaired the broken pump and restored the flow of safe water to everyone in Koloo Mbogo.
