A message from the community
Kowuor Community is grateful for the repair of our hand pump. It was tough for us when the pump was broken which led to water scarcity. We say thank you to Lifewater Canada for extending a helping hand. -- Community Leaders
Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
The children and adults living in Kowuor in Kisumu County had to gather their water from nearby rivers and swamps -- putting everyone at risk of contracting diarrheal diseases -- after the hand pump on their community well failed. But through the generosity of our donors, Lifewater has visited Kowuor and repaired the pump. Safe water is flowing freely again.
