A message from the community

Kunya Learning Center community thank Lifewater Canada for the repair of the center's hand-pump so our children and the community at large can get clean and safe water. -- Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

The Kunya Learning Center's well provides water for students attending the school and for everyone living in the surrounding community. When the well's hand pump stopped working, neither children nor adults had easy access to safe water. Everyone was forced to begin walking several kilometres in search of drinkable water. But recently, Lifewater visited the centre, repaired the broken pump, and restored the flow of safe, easily accessible water to young and old.
