Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
Students at Masogo Secondary School and people living in the surrounding community were very excited when Lifewater arrived to repair the broken hand pump on their water well. Months earlier, when the pump failed, it forced everyone to begin walking to and from other water sources -- some of which are contaminated and put people at risk of contracting diarrheal diseases. The successful pump repair has enabled children and adults to get safe water from their local well again.
