Ober Nyatoka community in Kisumu East constituency had no access to safe water after the hand pump on the local well failed. About 600 children and adults had to begin drinking from the nearest river, which was contaminated and left everyone at risk of contracting diarrheal diseases. Through the generosity of our donors, Lifewater has repaired the pump so safe water is readily available to everyone again.
