A message from the community

Dear Lifewater & Sponsor, I have lived in this community for 35 years now. I am a farmer, and I have 12 children. Approximately 1000 people live in this community and will have access again to the replaced pump. After the pump broke down we had to start walking around 40 minutes to get safe water from another well. This made our lives very difficult - we either had to take all this time or pay a motorcycle taxi to bring the water to us. Both were bad choices! We will look after the well and keep the area clean. Thank you very much for replacing the pump on our well, we are so happy to have safe water again in our community. Thank you! Jean Claude Claudius, Well Caretaker
