A message from the community

On behalf of the entire community, I want to thank you very much for our rehabilitated well. While it was broken, we were struggling to get water. We contacted Lifewater and now we have a new completely repaired well. It has given us a real helping hand as we live in constant troubles. Thank you.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

There are about 1,500 people in Shida Community. While their well wasn't functioning, they had to walk to a neighboring village for water -- a risky task during Haiti's current political unrest that has sparked widespread violence. Thanks to our donors, Shida's well has been rehabilitated and safe, easily accessible water is available to everyone again.
