A message from the community

Dear Sir/Madame Thank you very much Lifewater, who was accepted to donate the well to us. We had lots of need for it! The well will make a lot of change in our community/ First we will save some money and it will save our children from getting sick from the water we been using before. We are very happy for the new well and we hope you can continue working in Haiti even when it not easy to do so. We love you Lifewater Vilcius St Martin Well Caretaker

There are around 500 people living near this well and 350 will come regularly to draw water from it. Previously the villagers walked about 1 hour to a neighboring pump for water, twice daily or spent about 400 goudes weekly for bagged water, a larger family spending more than that.
