We wish to say we are deeply honored and grateful to have a working hand pump after the repair team fixed it. It is easy for all of us to collect clean drinking water. Thanks lots. ---Community Leaders

While some of the residents could access clean water, although with so much struggle, others were totally unable, after the hand pump on their well in Duazon village stopped working. Those that could access water would walk for several hours to get to a water source or pay so much money to get water from vendors, but those that were either sick, weak, old or financially incapable of meeting the high cost of clean water, clean drinking water was completely out of reach for them. However, Lifewater Canada teamed up with Service to Servants and fixed the village's broken hand pump, thus making clean and safe water is easily accessible to all in Duazon village.
