On April 23rd, 2015, a health & Hygiene workshop was held for this large community of 1235 people with 31 members chosen to attend the event. Patmelia Academy is a school system that was established on March 15, 2015 in the Wein Town, Pipeline community with three hundred (300) students in its first year of operation and has grown in enroll to the present one thousand two thirty five (1235) operation both morning and afternoon sessions. The school is located no far from the swamp. With the fast growth in enrollment the need for water for drinking and janitorial duties cannot be over emphasized. The administration had been purchasing purified water in sachets for the little kids while the janitor has been getting water from the swamp nearby for the bath room usage when their hand dug well goes dry during the height of the dry season. The school is situated in a very sandy area something which had made it very difficult to have hand dug wells. The administration of the school has extended thanks and appreciation to the Lifewater family for the great job done for the school by providing hygiene training for the staff and students in a one day workshop and erecting a brand new pump. They promised to use the facility wisely and urge that Lifewater continue the good job of providing safe drinking water for the people of Liberia.
