A message from the community

Dear Sir, When we go out to drill that we share great joy with the people of the villages we are working with. To see safe water bursting from the ground is exciting and everyone knows life will be better now. But it doesn't come without some struggles. We have been plagued with the lack of drilling compound which we can't get here locally. For months now it has been coming and yet hasn't arrived and now it is here but due to COVID stuck in the port here in Monrovia. We are grateful that Lifewater Canada hears our cries for help and is helping us by sending us a small amount by FEDEX while we wait for the large shipment to be released. Without drilling compound we cannot drill in soft sandy soil, and our people suffer. Please know that we are very grateful and appreciate your support to provide this material Sincerely Stephen Varfee Program Coordinator for Lifewater Liberia
