The Lifewater Kenya team is meticulous about repair and maintenance of equipment, but, sometimes there is no option left but replacement, as was the case with this mud pump. The pump is used to circulate drilling fluids  in the borehole, acting as a coolant and lubricant for the drilling heads. Without it, a new well is not possible, a simple piece of equipment with a complex and very important job.
