A message from the community

We appreciate this noble organization, Lifewater, for the repair of the hand pump on the well in our community. Water is life, and this well and hand pump have been the source of life to the school, church, and entire community. May God almighty continue to bless and strengthen your organization. Thank you for your hard work. John Holmer and Bill G. Nyumah, Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Sammy M. Dukuly School, in the Soul Clinic Kpelleh Town community, has had a water well since Lifewater drilled one in 2012. The well meet the drinking and sanitation needs of the students and staff, plus the entire community. When the hand-powered pump on the well failed several weeks ago, students were forced to walk for as much as an hour each way to gather water for the school's needs. Community members faced a similar trek. Thanks to our donors, Lifewater's repair team visited the school recently and repaired the hand pump so safe and accessible water could begin flowing again. Members of the community thanked Lifewater for this work.
