Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |
||||||||||||||||||
Barvlehn Town is in Charlesville, in Margibi County, behind Liberia's Robert International Airport. Its approximately 2,000 residents earn most of their income from fishing. For their drinking and sanitation needs, those that can afford it buy water from local vendors. But most people get their water by walking to and from contaminated creeks and rivers. Therefore, the residents of Barvlehn Town were very grateful when Lifewater, thanks to our donors, drilled a well in their community that is now providing safe and accessible water for everyone. They were also thankful for the health and hygiene workshop that Lifewater provided. |
