Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |
||||||||||||||||||
Swarm Wrin Snafu Dock Town is in Margibi County, the second-oldest settlement near Liberia's Robert International Airport. Most residents are involved in fishing or farming. There was never any local source of safe drinking water. Those who could afford it walked long distances to buy water from commercial vendors. Those who couldn't relied on nearby streams and rivers, none of which offered safe drinking water. Therefore, the community was very grateful when Lifewater donors funded the recent drilling of a water well in Swarm Wrin Snafu Dock Town, and also provided an important health and hygiene workshop. Village leader Bomily Willina publicly thanked the drilling team for their hard work and for the workshop. |
