When the government's water pipeline system began to fail, the C&S Church and Hajj Camp community were forced to start buying water from local vendors. But the vendors are expensive, and many residents were already struggling with high inflation and a surge in food prices in Nigeria.

Therefore, it was a great relief when Lifewater Canada donors funded the recent drilling of a well that is providing safe and accessible water in the community. Residents no longer need to depend on vendors or inconsistent government supplies.
