The entire membership of Fellowship Baptist Church in Marke wishes to express our gratitude and to thank you for your love towards our members by drilling a water well in our community. Marke is a growing community in Nigeria's Nasarawa State that was suffering from crippling water shortages. The government's water board has rationed water in Marke so residents would often walk long distances to fetch water from other sources. Those who walked to the river risked being raped, kidnapped, or attacked by snakes. Most children in the community would spend more time fetching water than than they would in their classrooms. Therefore, it was an enormous relief when Lifewater, thanks to our donors, drilled a well in Marke that is providing safe water to residents for their drinking and sanitation needs. People are grateful for the donation and pray that God will bless the donors.
