Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)
The Great Commission Baptist Church and surrounding community have been struggling without safe drinking water since their beginnings in 2015. They have been forced to rely on nearby creeks and swamps -- water so dirty it caused many people to become sick with diarrhea and other illnesses. The only other alternative was to pay high prices for water from local vendors.
Thanks to Lifewater Canada donors, the church and community now have a new well that is providing safe and easily accessible to everyone.
