Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Dobi is plagued by poverty. Like residents of many other communities in Abuja that lack government assistance, the people of Dobi have for many years practiced open defecation, which places them at great risk of becoming sick.

“We needed a decent toilet to prevent us from contracting diseases while trying to defecate," local woman Sadiya Mohammed told us. She said her prayers were answered when Lifewater Canada donors funded the construction of a disease-free toilet recently in the community. Lifewater Canada has restored the dignity of everyone in Dobi.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
