A message from the community

I thank you on behalf of the entire Onongn’o community for repairing our pump. May good Lord bless you abundantly. -- Hellen Ondiek, Teacher, Onong'no Primary School

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

When the hand-powered pump on Onong'no Primary School's well broke down two months ago, students had to begin bringing water to school from a dirty river. The time needed to gather this water kept boys and girls out of their classrooms, recalls teacher Hellen Ondiek. But thanks to Lifewater Canada donors, the pump was repaired recently so safe water is available again -- saving students from the struggle of fetching tainted water from the river and making it to class on time.
