A message from the community

We in Kamenyi would like to thank Lifewater Canada for showing up and fixing the broken pump on our communal well. The pump was broken for weeks and we were not sure how to get it fixed. We are really happy that you helped us out. -- Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Several weeks ago, the hand-powered pump on the community well in Kamenya stopped working. All 340 residents had no choice but to begin drawing water from unsafe sources -- putting everyone at risk of contracting potentially deadly waterborne diseases. Thanks to our donors, Lifewater repaired the pump recently. The community is very happy to have its source of safe water restored.
