A message from the community

Thank you very much, Lifewater and those who support Haiti. This gift of a well in our community is a rich blessing. The money we used to spend on water can now be used for food for our children. God bless you. -- Miyotte Jilles, Well Caretaker (trained and equipped by Lifewater)

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

About 700 people live in Coridor Village, and about 500 coming to draw water from this new well, provided by Lifewater Canada donors. Before the well was drilled, children and adults would walk about 500 metres several times a day to another well to gather water. It was hard work and very time-consuming. The new well is a great blessing!
