Thank you so much, Lifewater Canada, for sending your expertise  to repair our well.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Kanyango has a water well that was drilled in 1995. The well's hand pump has broken down several times since then from constant use. Each time, there was a long wait while residents struggled to raise the money for repairs. During these down periods, those who could afford it would buy water from expensive vendors. Everyone else had to resort to unsafe water from creeks and other sources that might lead to diarrheal diseases.

When the pump failed again recently, help arrived much sooner than anticipated, thanks to Lifewater Canada donors who funded the pump repair at no cost to the community. Safe and readily accessible water is flowing freely again in Kanyango.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
