A message from the community

We appreciate your efforts in doing it again -- replacing the worn-out plunger seal on our hand pump. Thank you Lifewater Canada.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

The people living in Kasaoke in Kisumu County get their water from a communal well. When the hand pump on the well broke down a month ago, and all the harvested rainwater was exhausted, residents had to begin buying piped-in water from expensive local vendors. This was an enormous setback, given that most community members are poor. But recently, thanks to our donors, Lifewater repaired the pump. Now safe, accessible, and cost-free water is available to everyone again.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
