A message from the community

We are happy for what you have done. Thanks so much. Now we have water which we used to buy and it was very expensive. God bless you.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Kawindah community in Kisumu County has about 400 members, all of whom depend on a local well for their daily water supply. The pump broke down nine months ago, denying everyone free access to safe water. Residents had to begin buying from expensive vendors, which was a heavy financial burden for most households. Recently, however, Lifewater donors enabled us to repair the pump and restore the flow of safe, cost-free water to one and all in Kawindah.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
