A message from the community

This is to express our sincere appreciation to Lifewater Canada for the repair work the organization has done to our water well today freely. This would have otherwise been very expensive for our community. We say thank you and may God bless the organization.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

When the hand-powered pump on their well failed about two weeks ago, the 400 residents of Komuono in Kisumu County no longer had their traditional source of safe drinking water. Those who could afford it began buying from local vendors. But most people had no choice -- they began drawing water from nearby ponds that isn't safe for human consumption. But now Lifewater, thanks to our donors, has restored everyone's access to safe and cost-free water by fixing the broken pump.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
