A message from the community

On behalf of this community, I would like to extend my gratitude towards the committed team you have. This well was repaired but broke down again. Your team came back to repair it. Thank you so much, Lifewater Canada. -- Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Ogango community members in Kisumu County get water from a local well. However, when the well's hand pump broke down for about a week, 750 children and adults who rely on the well no longer had access to safe water. Most were forced to begin drinking from rivers, ponds, and small reservoirs. None of these sources is safe for human consumption, so everyone was at risk of contracting diarrheal diseases. Thanks to our donors, Lifewater repaired the pump and restored the flow of safe water.
