A message from the community

We are very pleased to appreciate Lifewater Canada for the hard work of rehabilitating our hand pump well. The elders and leaders of the township are grateful.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

When the hand-powered pump on their well broke down about a year ago, the 1,500 people living in Division #16 Community in Margibi County were forced to start visiting old hand-dug wells for water that isn't safe for consumption. This put everyone at risk of contracting diarrheal diseases. However, thanks to our donors, Lifewater has rehabilitated the community well, including complete replacement of its hand pump. Everyone is thankful to have safe and easily accessible water again.
