A message from the community

We the members of Mende’s Town Community Q-2 wish to extend thanks and appreciation to Lifewater Canada  and the team that worked on the pump for the good job they did in restoring water to our community.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Mende’s Town Community Q-2 in Lower Margibi has about 850 residents who, after the hand pump on their deep well failed, had no choice but to begin drawing water from old, abandoned, unsafe water sources that left everyone at risk of becoming sick. This sad situation continued for a year until Lifewater, thanks to our donors, visited the community and rehabilitated the well, including complete replacement of its hand pump. Today, everyone is gratefully drinking safe water again.
