We express our thanks and appreciation to you and your staff for the rehabilitation of our hand pump well that has been down for months. May God bless the work of your hands as you carry on these humanitarian services to our people.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

About 900 people in 1407/Block-C Community in Montserrado County struggled for over a year after the local well's hand pump broke down. Those who could afford it bought water from expensive local vendors. Everyone else was forced to rely on unsafe sources that made them -- especially children and the elderly -- susceptible to waterborne diseases. But recently, with support from our donors, Lifewater rehabilitated the community well, including replacing its broken hand pump.

Grateful residents are enjoying safe, cost-free water again, plus improved health.
