We thank you very much, Lifewater, for what you have done for us! We have been praying to have are own well in the community for a long time and now God has answered us by sending Lifewater to give us this well. We are all very happy. We will save some money (because we no no longer need to buy water) and spend it to feed our children. We will also have time (because we no longer need to walk back and forth to the vendors or other sources) to do other needed things to stay healthy.

Because there was no well in their community, the 800 people living in Prefé had to buy water from expensive local vendors or walk to a well in another village. The round trip would take 90 minutes. Most households needed to make the trip at least twice each day -- eating up an enormous amount of time and energy. Then Lifewater arrived and, thanks to our donors, drilled a well that is providing safe, free, and easily accessible water to every grateful child and adult in Prefé.
