A message from the community |

Thank you very much, Lifewater. We are very happy to have a well in are community because we have suffered a lot, especially in recent times. Every day we need money to buy water and even more money to pay motorcycle drivers to carry it for us. Now we have are own well. Praise the Lord! We will continue to pray for you and ask God to bless you. -- Daniella Alcime, Community Leader |

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |

With no well in their community, the 1,400 children and adults living in Nan Bambou had no choice but to either make a one-hour walk at least twice each day to the nearest village with a well, or to buy water from expensive vendors, then pay drivers to bring the water back to their homes. But recently, thanks to our donors, Lifewater visited Nan Bambou and drilled a well that is providing safe, easily accessible, and free water to everyone in the community. |
