Project Summary |
||||||||||||||||||
About 1,200 girls and boys at Ofunyu Primary School were forced to drink from dirty rivers and ponds -- putting everyone at risk of becoming sick -- for about two years after their local well stopped working. But safe water is available again for all the very grateful students, thanks to Lifewater Canada donors who funded a rehabilitation of the well, including a repaired hand pump. |
