Project Summary |
||||||||||||||||||
The village of Sullu faced water shortages for a long time. Children and adults had to walk to and from a dirty stream that put everyone at risk of gastro-intestinal illnesses. Roaming pastoralists, or cow herders, bring their livestock to the stream -- further contaminating it. Through the generous support of our donors, Lifewater visited Sullu recently and drilled a well at St. John Catholic Church which is meeting the water needs of the entire Sullu community -- a much healthier community.
