A message from the community

We the people of Angwan Sarki Chimbi are very grateful for the rehabilitation of our water well. May God who brought you to us provide you with more money to help others.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

When the hand pump on the well in Angwan Sarki Chimbi failed, residents turned to shallow hand-dug wells and water vendors. The wells were highly contaminated with fecal matter and prone to drying up during periods of low rainfall, while the vendors were unaffordable to many residents. Thanks to our donors, Lifewater has repaired the broken hand pump. Safe and easily accessible water is available to everyone again in Angwan Sarki.
