A message from the community

On behalf of the entire Lefu Badnagbe community, we appreciate you for rehabilitating one of our old wells. We are very thankful for your help and effort towards us. We pray that the almighty Allah will keep blessing you.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Before Lifewater's arrival, this community had no water well and depended on a distant stream. Constant pollution of the stream by cattle had led to an increase in waterborne diseases and several fights with Fulani herdsmen (who owned the cattle), resulting in injuries on both sides. Also, the burden of carrying heavy water over a long distance back to the village had left the women with physical exhaustion and injuries.

Today, thanks to our donors, who rehabilitated this well in Badnagbe Lefu Lefu Badnagbe to bring safe water readily to everyone in the community.
