Project Summary |
||||||||||||||||||
Because there was no local water source in Tuna Kutukpapi, women and children would walk for almost an hour to the nearest river -- facing animal attacks and other dangers along the way. Then the water they brought home to their families would be so dirty that it caused diseases and deaths in the community. Now, thanks to our donors, Lifewater has rehabilitated the well in Tuna Kutukpapi (including a new hand pump). It is providing safe and easily accessible water again for everyone. |
