The 700 residents of Oyola ACK community in the Nyando region have always been forced to gather their water from contaminated sources such as rivers, ponds and swamps. Villagers never had a source of safe water. But recently, thanks to generous Lifewater Canada donors, a team arrived in the community and drilled a well that is providing safe and easily accessible water to everyone. People young and old expressed their gratitude. |
