Project Summary |
||||||||||||||||||
For four years, the 1,000 residents of F-Sham Soul Clinic Community in Montserrado County tried to survive without access to safe water after the hand pump on their communal broke down. Children and adults would drink from the contaminated sources such as open hand-dug wells, constantly fearful of contracting diarrheal diseases. Then generous Lifewater Canada donors funded the well's rehabilitation, including a new hand, thereby restoring safe water to the grateful community. |
