A message from the community

The Israel community expresses our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Lifewater Canada team and all the donors for the provision of clean and safe water in our community through the rehabilitation of our well.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Everyone in Israel Community in Margibi County lived in fear of dying from deadly diseases while they used water from contaminated sources such as creeks after the hand pump on their communal well broke down. But then Lifewater Canada donors funded the well's rehabilitation, including a new hand pump. More than 900 grateful children and adults are now getting safe water from the restored well.
