A message from the community |

Dear Sir/Madame The community is very happy to have a well in their town. It was a challenge for us to cross the road, more than 2 times per day to get water. It very dangerous specially with the motorcycle traffic. We don’t send kids to get water because of the road but now having a well here is a real blessing for us. Thank you thank you very much Lifewater. You saved our lives by having good water to drink and protecting us to road accidents. Blessing to you all Elmicia Pierre Well Caretaker. |

We have about 400 people in our village and all will access this new well. Having to cross National Route #1 main highway is dangerous and this new well is so much safer to use. It used to take sometimes 40 min to get across the road and walk the 10 min to get to the other village well. Those that could spent about 1500 goudes per week on bagged water ($13.10 CDN)
