Rachel Oyelola lives in Angwan Sarki Farin Doki, where the hand pump on the local well stopped working several years ago.

"We lacked safe water in the community," Rachel recalls. "Many people had to go a very long distance to get water from the village stream. Despite going that far, the water from the stream was very dirty, which in turn caused residents to endure different types of sicknesses and diseases." 

But recently, through the generosity of our donors, Lifewater replaced the broken pump and restored the well to working order so safe water is flowing again in the community.

"We appreciate the kind gesture being rendered to us all," Rachel says.
