A message from the community

For years in the Alipi Community, we had no toilet. We used to walk long distances into the bush to excrete, and it became very difficult during the raining season. Now, thanks to Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Nigeria, we have a wonderful clean toilet within the community that we can easily access. The entire community is grateful. May God continue to be with you. -- Evangelist Ezekiel, Community Leader

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

"We had no toilet in our community," recalls Alhassan Madaki of Alipi Community Gwagwalada. "Open defecation made the community stink whenever it rained heavily. With a new toilet built for us by Lifewater, we no longer practice open defecation. Our hearts are full of joy and happiness. God bless Lifewater."
