The community of Dour Town 1 has safe water, thanks to the repair of the hand pump on the local well through the generosity of Lifewater Canada donors in partnership with Service to Servants, a non-government organization in Liberia.

However, residents still knew very little about Health and Hygiene. But through the further support of our donors, Service to Servants visited Dour Town 1 to teach children and adults the importance of health, hygiene, and sanitation. The lessons focused on personal hygiene and on protecting the environment, including water sources.
