A message from the community

Thank you for the repair of our communal hand pump. Thank you, Lifewater Canada, for bringing clean and safe water back into our homes and promoting healthy living. ---Community Leaders

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

The hand-powered pump on Flour Mill Community's only well was broken for weeks, leaving anxious people with no access to safe water. Children and adults were forced to drink from contaminated sources -- mainly shallow hand-dug wells. This put the entire population at risk of contracting waterborne diseases. But through the generous support of our donors, Lifewater visited Flour Mill Community recently and repaired the broken hand pump. Safe water is readily available to everyone again.
