A message from the community

The leadership of Tarrbar Community expresses thanks and appreciation to Lifewater Canada for coming to our village and repaired our hand pumps. We hope and pray that God will bless you, your team and the donors.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Children and adults in Tarrbar were forced to try to survive without access to safe water, after the hand-powered pumps on their local wells failed. Everyone had to drink from shallow hand-dug wells that are often contaminated. This left many people fearful of contracting waterborne diseases. But through the support of our generous donors, Lifewater visited the community recently and repaired the broken pumps, including this one. Safe water is available to everyone again.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
