A message from the community

Our pump was down for months and life became so tough. We are so grateful to Lifewater Canada for fixing it. It is our joy to have clean water.

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Jecko Town's children and adults were forced to gather potentially contaminated water from an open hand-dug well after the hand pumps on their only sources of safe water -- community wells -- stopped working. Everyone was fearful of becoming sick from the hand-dug well's water. Then Lifewater, through the support of our donors, visited Jecko Town and repaired the broken pumps. Grateful community members have renewed access to safe water for all their drinking and other household needs.

Every $1 you give provides a child with safe water for a year!
