We want to say thank you -- first to the Lord, for He saw our problems and He sent Lifewater to us. Thank you very much to everyone who gave their money and their time to provide the well for us! May God send more funds for you so you can continue drilling wells in Haiti because water is life!

About 600 children and adults have begun regularly using this new well. Before it was drilled, through the generous support of Lifewater Canada donors, everyone had about a 20-minute each way to reach another village's pump. The trips were tiring and used time that women needed for income-earning opportunities and children needed to be in school. Those who could afford it would also spend badly needed money buying bagged water for their drinking needs from expensive local vendors.
