Adiza is from Laitapi, a community trying to survive despite severe water scarcity after the only local well stopped working. During our visit, Adiza told us: "After drinking the dirty water from our local stream, we end up having headaches and body pains. We have to share our stream with cattle and other animals that end up polluting the stream. Our men have difficulties getting water, and they have to fight with the Fulani herders as a result of water pollution by their herds." 

However, with the support of our donors, Lifewater has rehabilitated Laitapi's well, including installing a new hand pump. The flow of safe water has been restored in the community. Residents were grateful and prayed that God would bless our donors.
